Thank you for your pictures please keep sending them and we try to show as many as we can.Although the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal is mostly covered from Pontymoile to Brecon, there has been some significant progress in the Restoration of the canal from Pontymoile to Five Locks on the outskirts of Cwmbran thanks to Torfaen Borough Council and British Waterways, and with Grants from the EEC,the Welsh Development Agency and Gwent CC, with dredging in 2003 the renewed depth is restored to cruise to Five Locks and its new canal basin.
